Hello everybody, are you fine?

In this 2nd class we will study about prejudice and stereotypes 

a) Read the testimonial below and translate. Make a list of stereotypes’ causes and effects and how to avoid it.

 I have myopia and I wear a very high degree glasses that makes the lens big and my eyes look smaller than they are. I became the target of anonymous social media offenses. I was also humiliated at school. One day, at the end of the term, a group of classmates got together to make fun of me. I was chased. Even my friends, who used to hang out with me, walked away from me because they didn’t want to be offended too. For a long time, I had no desire to go to school. My teacher noticed what was going on and reported the situation to the school principal and coordinator. My parents and my classmates ́ parents were called at school. I had the opportunity to talk about my feelings and my classmates could reflect on their actions. Arrangements were made, and today I enjoy going to school, but I will never forget how hard it was to go through that situation.
